House Grill.

The place to go for good burgers in Daejeon and also the location of quite possibly the best grilled cheese sammy I (and lots of others) have ever eaten. 

Get a picture in your head of the Fourth of July and backyards with BBQ's going and grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks and ears of corn.  Think of sparklers and other fireworks going on.  Sipping an ice cold beverage and enjoying your family and friends. 

This is how good the food is.  House Grill brings home the flavors and thoughts of home.   

Drop this restaurant in your neighborhood and would it be as good?  I like to think so.

Absolutely delicious.

Note: You can speak English here and if you are lost trying to find it, call and they can help you out.  The owner (his name escapes me right now) has lived in the United States and is fluent in English.

top to bottom: egg (it's Korea), hash brown, patty, cheese, patty, cheese, lettuce,
onion, tomato, onion, ketchup and mayo

If you get a Set, it comes with french fries and a drink.
I got the bacon cheese burger.

All sandwiches, hamburgers and french fries are made to order so
you may wait about 20-25 minutes but it is well worth the wait.

The owner does not use premade hamburger patties.
All hand made from fresh beef.

Outside seating--4 tables

Inside seating yields 4 tables as well as AC.

Bring your dogs or bikes and have a great burger and conversation!

Directions: 

Plan A: 
Go to Lotte Department store.  If you are standing in front of the main doors looking up, turn to your left and follow the sidewalk past what used to be the store ELVES.  It is the same building as Paris Baguette.  First floor in the back.  If the directions are not clear call the number in the picture and the owner can help out.


Plan B:
If you go to the back of Lotte Department store and follow the road to the right of the store, you will see the back of  House Grill to the right of a parking garage.  You will see the view of the picture above.
